BUSSELTON DAY TRIP—Thursday 10th August—Spend the day in the gorgeous coastal town of Busselton visiting local art galleries, specialty shops and of course have lunch at one of the lovely seaside cafés.
GUYS DAY OUT—Friday 18th August— This month the guys head off to the mining town of Greenbushes! Here they will spend the morning exploring the fascinating Greenbushes Discovery Centre. The Greenbushes Discovery Centre provides a fascinating insight into the natural and cultural environment of the south west and also tells the story of human involvement with the environment. It houses interactive displays and unique games set in various themes namely Mining, Timber Milling, Community and Agriculture, all under the umbrella of ‘The Land” . Experience the “Discovery Forest” interactive timber display or explore the “Discovery Decline” replica underground tunnel. From here we will head to the rolling hills of Bridgetown for a drive past the river and lunch at The Cidery where they have homemade pies, quiches, fantastic fish and chips and more—Maybe you can even have a cheeky cider!
OUTING GROUP—Friday 25th August—Come and explore the Wellington Dam and surrounding areas on the CHC bus. We will see the newly revamped Potters Gorge with its picturesque picnic and camping areas as well as the beautiful Wellington Dam. Bring your camera and see if you can snap a few wildflower pictures or maybe even spot a kangaroo. Lunch will be at the award winning Evedon Park located in the hills just above Burekup. Owned and operated by long time residents Tony and Merilyn Jenour this charming lakeside estate not only has a lovely café but also boats some fantastic natural Australian bush land for you to stroll through.Evedon Park Gallery also displays a wide range of Arts and Craft created by local Ferguson Valley Artists available for sale.
EPICURE TRAINING RESTRAUNT DINNER—Thursday 31st August— Come in and enjoy fantastic cuisine at great prices in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Choose from a variety of dishes, enjoy a cocktail or mock tail and complement your meal with a selection of Australian and international wines.
